Chapter 1 :

When troubles of many kind come your way consider an oppurt ity for great joy. Our generous God will give you wisdom if you ask. Be sure that your faith is in God alone. God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Temptation comes from our own desires , which entice us and drag us away. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
