Love your neighbor as yourself

Chapter 2:

" For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws." 2:10

James reminds us that we should not show favoritism to the wealthy.

Doing so insults people made in God's image, its inconsistent with Christ's teachings , it shows lack of mercy to those unfortunate.

Faith without Good deeds is useless

"Dont you remember that our ansestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son issac on the altar?" 2:21

Abraham believed God and God counted it as righteous because of his faith.
